Docking stations are proprietary industrial devices designed and manufactured by REAKTO engineers – fully maintenance-free, constructed from high-end components, and weather-resistant.
Docking stations perform a variety of important functions, including parking drones in public spaces, replacing and charging their batteries, and performing pre-flight technical diagnostics. Depending on need, several to a dozen drones rest on a single station awaiting operation. One station can serve an area of up to 80 square kilometers.
We have developed our proprietary drones with the security industry in mind. Thanks to appropriately assembled components and accessories, they can carry out operational tasks in almost any condition – day and night, in full sunlight and in the rain.
Our drones are capable of performing tactical tasks for 48 minutes on a single battery charge. During this time, they can efficiently collect intel or scare intruders away from the protected area with a strobe light and directional speaker, as well as track the intruder with a 40x optical zoom camera lens until the intervention group arrives. Our proprietary battery pack can be automatically replaced so the drones can be ready for the next operation almost immediately.
The flight management system connects a drone fleet and a network of docking stations with pilots managing the intervention at the Operations Center. The system makes it possible to implement an intervention and supervise its course by selecting the drone localized closest to the scene of the incident, monitoring its autonomous flight, video recording the operation, and remotely controlling the drone by the pilot.
The software supports the pilot's perception and the decision-making process – it has been equipped with algorithms for automatic detection of human silhouettes, obstacle avoidance, and target following, and it has a function for depersonalizing the image of bystanders and sensitive information. The management system processes data in real-time and reports on the current technical status of the entire infrastructure. It is also a tool for communication between the REAKTO pilot and the dispatchers of partner security companies.
From the REAKTO operations center, pilots monitor and coordinate the operation of the entire infrastructure. Our Pilots keep in contact with security companies, constantly monitor emergency calls, perform interventions, and take control of the drones when necessary.
The operations center personnel also ensure the safety of flight operations and their compliance with applicable regulations.
Our system operates without infringing the privacy of customers and bystanders. We rely on "Privacy by default" and "Privacy by design" standards during the development and implementation of services. We automatically depersonalize video footage from our drones while flying in public spaces. All data we acquire is stored and processed following the GDPR guidelines, and we maintain the highest standards in this regard. We inform our clients about the type of data and the purpose of collecting and processing it.
